KHS thus offers a multistage line optimization concept for maximum effectiveness. The results thereof and ensuing recommendations for line optimization are then discussed in depth. The Innosim line simulation system devised by KHS tests what effect the suggested remedies have on the line. Additional savings potential in the way energy, compressed air, CO₂ and water are used is then localized. Sustainable and attractive product design KHS technology is distinguished by its robustness and durability. The average age of an installed system, for example, is currently about 17 years. The oldest KHS machine on record still in the maintenance program has been running reliably since 1958 and is even today in production at the C. Loos wine estate in Germany's Rhineland-Palatinate.
