Full service for your Bartelt machines
If you own a tried-and-tested Bartelt machine, you have just as much right to our full service as users of the latest machine generation. As the official successor company to Bartelt KHS offers you expert advice and original high-quality spare parts.
Bartelt had its beginnings in 1941 when Harold L. Bartelt and his brother, Donald E. Bartelt, formed the Bartelt Engineering Company in Rockford, Illinois. In 1949 the Bartelt Intermittent Motion Packager was developed to fabricate, fill and close flexible film pouches. The IM Packager was complemented in 1954 by further Bartelt cartoner and filling equipment. Bartelt packaging systems were subsequently widely used by major foreign and domestic food packaging companies.
In March 2003 Klöckner Bartelt, Inc. was purchased by KHS, Inc., a division of Salzgitter AG. The brand name is today known as KHS Bartelt.
KHS Bartelt is a world-class manufacturer of packaging systems for the food, home and personal care, medical and pharmaceutical, tobacco, chemical and electronics industries. Our products cater for both primary and secondary packaging requirements with horizontal form/fill/seal pouch equipment and horizontal end-load cartoning technology.
The fact that many older Bartelt machines are still in successful operation is proof of their top quality and durability. So that this remains so, you should always use original spare parts should the need arise. Only original components give you a persistently high level of line availability.
