Your responsibilities

Your profile

  • Monitor outstanding invoices and proactively follow up with customers to ensure timely collection of payments. Actively engage with customer accounts departments and resolve any disputes.
  • Handling and verification of imports and exports especially accuracy of documentation, HS codes, processing of custom duties and monitoring of shipments/clearance process.
  • Reconciliations – ensure company accounts are reconciled, including but not limited to project related costs and P&L.
  • Ensure company financial statements are up to date.
  • Invoicing
  • Booking supplier invoices, reconciling and processing supplier payments in a timely manner.
  • Handling of annual audit, statutory and tax audits.
  • Handling of internal audits and stock take.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly management reports, budgets and other key reports strictly keeping to stipulated deadlines.
  • Ensuring all tax reports and payments are submitted respecting the determined due dates.
  • Verification of payroll and processing of salary payments.
  • Ensure all insurance covers are in place and renewals are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Contribute towards the development of the company.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance & accounting.
  • At least 5 years in a similar position within a corporate environment.
  • You must be highly proficient in SAP 4 HANA
  • Demonstrably proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are meticulous in ensuring accuracy and completeness in all financial records and reports.
  • You have the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet all deadlines.
  • You are adept at understanding changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements.
