For maximum efficiency and economy: our holistic line concept
It’s often the product packaging that encourages consumers to opt for a certain brand. We thus consider it to be the major foundation that shores up our holistic line concept – for the success of a product starts with its development. We offer our customers perfectly orchestrated turnkey systems and solutions optimally tailored to their requirements and the demands of the market. Our smart line concept ensures that processes are flexible, reliable and cost-effective.
One prime example of this is our KHS Innopack Kisters Advanced series with its new resource-conserving BottleClip application option. At interpack, by way of example we’ll be demonstrating this new module on our KHS Innopack Kisters TSP Advanced that gives operators a high level of flexibility, packing PET and glass bottles and cans on trays, in film as well as on trays or pads and film. Our fully-automatic packaging machine can now also turn PET containers into sustainable packs using a cardboard carrying handle: our patented BottleClip system.
Our high-performance KHS Innopal PLR palletizer that features cutting-edge robot technology is another KHS machine that provides maximum flexibility. It palletizes all standard formats at rates of up to 625 layers per hour – whether cans, PET or glass bottles. With its low-level infeed for optimum access and a high degree of occupational safety, the KHS Innopal PLR is nothing less than convincing.
Innovation paired with sustainability: our versatile packaging portfolio
For us, the sustainable handling of resources is more than just a promise; it’s a matter very close to our hearts. Our packaging systems and solutions therefore combine clear ecological benefits with enhanced product protection and carrying convenience. One example of this is our internationally established Nature MultiPack that joins cans and PET bottles together to form stable packs with nothing more than a few small dots of adhesive, rendering any additional film or cardboard superfluous.
At interpack, we’re presenting not one but two groundbreaking bottle innovations in the PET segment. KHS SUPREME reliably protects oxygen-sensitive beverages such as tea for long periods of time. Our premium bottle unites the benefits of glass and PET using our globally market-proven Plasmax barrier technology – a wafer-thin layer of silicon oxide applied to the inside of the PET bottle.
KHS Premium LITE has been developed together with Husky Technologies. It combines minimum material consumption with high-quality aesthetics. What’s special here is that the 0.25-liter PET bottle weighing just 6.2 grams has been designed to cope with top filling speeds.

For trouble-free processes: our smart service solutions
We supplement our considerable line and packaging expertise with a full range of services that give clients maximum line availability and process stability in the long term with a low TCO. The key to our success is the intensive support our experts provide our customers with – working in cooperative partnership with them on an equal footing.
At interpack, we’ll also be showcasing the further-developed version of our KHS ConnectApp Guide for the very first time. In the future, this optimized software will assist users with integrated bills of materials and dynamic maintenance tasks scheduled by the number of operating hours. The KHS Connect customer portal and associated KHS ConnectApp Guide are just two examples to be found in our comprehensive digital service portfolio. This also includes our tried-and-tested Innoline Basic Line Monitoring software, 3D line design, our remote diagnostics and maintenance system ReDiS plus our Augmented Reality Service.
We’d be very happy to demonstrate these and further systems and solutions to you at our Booth A31 in Hall 13. We’re looking forward to your visit!
