The internationally recognized sustainability audit EcoVadis is one of the key tools used to assess companies’ sustainability achievements.
About EcoVadis
EcoVadis is an independent international ratings provider that since its founding in 2007 has become one of the world’s largest audit systems used to assess companies’ sustainability achievements, with a special focus on the supply chain. With the help of a method based on international sustainability standards, EcoVadis has so far evaluated more than 90,000 businesses from various branches of industry.
EcoVadis provides reliable, globally recognized sustainability ratings that not only serve as a measurement tool in the achievement of sustainability targets but also support the ESG risk management process and various compliance issues. Against the backdrop of activities being undertaken to protect our climate on both a national and international scale, the importance of this rating has considerably increased in the last few years. EcoVadis has also gradually adapted its assessment criteria and scoring system to cater for the rapidly growing degree of complexity in corporate fields of action.
KHS: successful EcoVadis ratings since 2012
KHS has its sustainability achievements audited according to EcoVadis’ assessment criteria each and every year – and has been doing so since 2012. In this time we have implemented countless measures aimed at specifically optimizing our processes and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. The progress we have made in the past few years has repeatedly paid off, with us having been awarded two bronze medals, seven silver medals and the gold medal for the first time in 2023 by EcoVadis for our proven ecological and social commitment.
Our sustainability targets continue to be ambitious. This is demonstrated by the outstanding EcoVadis rating we have received regarding the environment in particular. The annual audit helps us to precisely identify the progress we have already made and thus specifically address our further efforts in this field. This helps us and all of the stakeholders interested in our company to gain a full picture of KHS’ continuous sustainability achievements.
